Vortexodial Turbine for Wind Energy conversion

The Vortexodial Turbine for Wind Energy conversion technology consists of multi-stage turbines to harness all types of wind forces, velocities, frequencies and directions effectively, in a “Modules in a Vortex-Tower” structure.

Each Module in the tower has a generation capacity of up to 0.5MWe or 2MWe in a “Stacked Modules" Tower. The Vortexodial technology is, in essence, the product of an improved reverse engineering of the proven Centrifugal Fan Arrangement, where on a horizontal plain the air enters from the side of the housing and exits at the front.

 

On Vortexodial Turbine technology, a Vertical Plain is applied with air entering from the side of the fan and exiting to the top.

The Module housing is constructed of fibreglass reinforced plastics, with the tower design providing a solution that combines technology, aesthetics and the all important human, environmental and bird friendly elements.

 

The tower can be installed as a Distributed Power System (DPS), as an embedded-generator, or on a farm arrangement for a large-scale capacity.
